NYT, 21’inci yüzyılın en iyi dizilerini belirlemek için 500’ü aşkın oyuncu, dizi yapımcısı, yönetici ve sektör çalışanı arasında bir anket düzenledi.
Ankete katılanlardan 1 Ocak 2000’den sonra başlamış en iyi 10 diziyi seçmeleri istendi. Bu nedenle 2007’ye kadar devam etse de 1999’da başlayan ‘The Sopranos’ gibi yapımlar listede yer almadı.
Ankete katılanlar arasında Elisabeth Moss, Adam Scott, Bryan Cranston, Rose Byrne, Colman Domingo ve Jason Bateman gibi yıldızların yanısıra Damon Lindelof, Lena Dunham, Lena Waithe ve Noah Hawley gibi dizi yaratıcıları da yer aldı.
